Dr Shilpa Yeddula

Dr. Shilpa has completed her medical degree in India and has extensive experience gained both in India and at Portland District Hospital, Ballarat Base Hospital and in Practice in Horsham, Australia. 

Dr. Shilpa is ready to meet you and look after your medical needs while she is adding to her medical skills. She is passionate about all aspects of General Practice and has special interests in Women’s Health, Paediatrics, Chronic Disease Management and Preventative Medicine.

Dr Chamika Gamage

Dr Chamika is a fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners with a Diploma in Child Health. Her special interests are paediatrics, Women’s health, Skin Cancer medicine and mental Health, including helping disadvantaged people.

She has been working with Aboriginal community in Ballarat. She completed her certification in skin cancer to assist patients requiring skin check and minor procedures. She previously worked in paediatric field for few years in Sri Lanka before migrating to Australia with her husband. She Started her career as a GP in Swan Hill-Victoria.

Because of her passion to work in beautiful country towns and after serving the community for 5 years in Swan Hill she started work part time in Creswick and Ballarat. She joined our team of practitioners since we started this family practice in Beaufort.

Dr Phyo Kyaw

Dr Kyaw completed his medical degree from University of Medicine, Yangon, Myanmar. After moving to Australia in 2009, he has previously worked in a variety of subspecialties at several major hospitals in Melbourne including Box Hill Hospital, Maroondah Hospital, William Angliss Hospital and Wantirna Health.

He has provided primary health care for Beaufort and Skipton area since 2015. He is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and holds a Diploma in Child Health. He has a special interest in rural and emergency medicine, paediatrics, preventive medicine and skin cancer medicine.

Dr Pushparani Ravindranayagam

Dr Pushpa Ravindranayagam completed her medical degree in Russia in 1992. She migrated to Australia from New Zealand in 2001.

She has previously Worked at The Alfred, Boxhill, Maroondah, William Angliss and Mildura Hospitals. She completed her General Practice training in Australia and been a GP since 2004 and Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practice (FRACGP) since 2007.

She has been working in the Beaufort /Skipton region since 2009.

She is an RACGP College Examiner and QA Examiner for the RACGP since 2012. She has made a significant contribution to General Practice training, including GP Registrar training and IMG training. She has been involved in medical student training and examining for Deakin University since 2014.

She is committed to medical training and will continue registrar training and medical students placements in addition to her usual General Practice Commitments.

Her special interests include rural medicine and emergency medicine; women’s health; mental health; paediatrics; preventive medicine; skin check and removal of lesion.

She is currently the Practice Principal and a practicing GP at Beaufort Family Practice.
